Arthur Clay develops artistic systems at the intersection of sound, performance, technology and public space. His work examines how perception, participation and social relation are produced through situated artistic experience.
Rather than treating artworks as closed objects, Clay creates frameworks in which audiences enter, activate and transform the work. His projects use sound, movement, media systems, architectural situations and public interaction to produce shared fields of experience.
